SHAA(SA) has organised the following two CPD events for the
first part of 2011:
1. A seminar on Friday 18 March from 2pm to 5pm at Emperors
Palace (Next to OR Tambo International Airport)
The topic is “How the new Consumer Act will affect YOU”.
The speaker is a lawyer who deals with consumer affairs etc.
Registration from 1.15pm.
This 3 hour seminar will provide you with 6 ethics points.
Remember you need 10 current ethics points at all times.
(Current – over 2 years)
2. A full-day symposium on Friday 27 May at Emperors
Palace.
Diarise the date - the programme will be emailed to you once
it is finalised.
The SHAA AGM will take place at the symposium – nomination
forms to be sent out soon.
This symposium will include displays by suppliers.
The committee decided to have the suppliers’ displays at the
May symposium because many suppliers launch new products at
the beginning of the year and suppliers also display at the
ENT/Audiology Congress near the end of the year (in Port
Elizabeth this year.)
We are awaiting the full quotes and cannot give you prices at
this stage. The more people who attend, the cheaper the fees.
We aim to cover costs, not to make a profit.
